Wild Rivers Symphony is proud to present our 2025 Winter Concert: Echos in Time
This performance invites you on a vibrant journey through drama, lyricism, and celebration.
Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets features soloists David Sedgwick and Collin Kirkwood, whose brilliant interplay brings this Baroque masterpiece to life.
The program also includes Frank Ticheli’s Acadiana, a colorful tribute to the Cajun spirit and musical vitality of Louisiana. Julie Giroux’s Hymn for the Innocent offers a poignant reflection on peace and compassion, while Samuel Hazo’s Ride propels us forward with exhilarating energy. Rossano Galante’s Terminus Approaching adds cinematic intensity and modern flair. Rounding out the concert, Shostakovich’s Waltz No. 2 brings nostalgic elegance and wit, and Rossini’s effervescent Overture to The Barber of Seville delights with its timeless humor and charm.
